SYNOPSIS
Raúl Schurjin was a people´s artist, loved and successful in his time, a painter respected by his peers and intellectuals in the 20th century. His paintings were exhibited with great success in important European cities and renowned Argentinean art galleries. However, the passage of time made Shurjin´s work fall into oblivion. Daniel, his grandson, took on the task of rewriting his story. This is a legacy, a journey through time, an urgent quest to discover who “Schurjin, the painter” really was.

Director & Producer – Audiovisual productions – Sound Director
Born in Buenos Aires in 1979, Martín Vaisman is a start-to-end filmmaker, documentalist and sound director. He has been working since 2004 in digital TV and cinematographic projects all around Argentina. He worked on more than 25 long documentaries for cinema theaters and digital platforms, TV shows, fiction dramas and cultural content for the Open Digital TV system in Argentina. Several of these productions won prizes, participated in film festivals and are available on on-demand streaming platforms. After years working as a cinematographer, Martín founded #mdoc, an independent audiovisual content production company. Among other projects he produced and directed two long documentaries: “The Delta – Stories of the river” in 2014, and “Schurjin, the painter” in 2019/2020.
